Saying what you're not is, believe it or not,  easier that trying to explain what you are. If you're into pop music, you're not going to like me. If you like jazz, funk, house and hip-hop, chances are you'll keep reading.

You can't please everyone so the only other option is to boldly exclude those who don't fit and warmly welcome those who do.

In order to do that however, you must know who you are and what your personal tastes are. Try lots things before you decide. 

Then, when those you include hear that you exclude the same group as they also do, they'll connect with you. 

The easiest way to do it is to make a list of famous people you like and admire, then imagine their opposite.
